Respecting Seniors & Keeping Them Connected
Pembroke should be a community where seniors can remain active, informed, connected, and involved in the decisions that affect them.
Brian will work to:
- Establish opportunities for seniors to have a stronger voice through a Seniors Advisory Committee.
- Improve communication with seniors, particularly as access to locally delivered newspapers becomes more limited.
- Plan infrastructure, parks, recreation, and community spaces with seniors and accessibility in mind.
- Maintain recreational facilities and community spaces that help residents stay active and connected.
- Continue advocating for enhanced primary health care services for Pembroke residents.
- Build on public transit that connects residents to appointments, services, recreation, and the community.
